Key Changes Effective from January 1st, 2024
These new salary thresholds are applicable from January 1st, 2024. This means that any application filed with the immigration office from January 1st onwards must meet the 2024 requirements.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Highly Skilled Migrant (Over 30 Years Old): The salary threshold is set at EUR 5,331.00 gross per month, excluding holiday allowance.
- Highly Skilled Migrant (Under 30 Years Old): A lower threshold applies, set at EUR 3,909.00 gross per month, excluding holiday allowance.
- Reduced Salary Threshold: This category, often applicable to recent graduates, is set at EUR 2,801.00 gross per month, excluding holiday allowance.
- EU Blue Card Holders: The threshold for Blue Card holders has been updated to EUR 6,245.00 gross per month, excluding holiday allowance.
