As of 1 January 2025, the minimum gross monthly salary thresholds (excluding 8% holiday allowance) are:

The timeline depends on the prompt submission of required information by both the employer and the Highly Skilled Migrant.
Standard processing time:
- 2 to 4 weeks once all documents are submitted to the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND).
- If an embassy visit is required, appointment availability may extend this timeline.
Yes, only employers recognized by the IND as sponsors can hire Highly Skilled Migrants.
While it is possible to leverage another company’s Recognized Sponsorship, the employer responsible for the migrant’s payroll must ultimately be a Recognized Sponsor.
